Welcome to our Home of Crystals

Established in 2021, Temporla In Bloom are a reputable and well established crystal and gem shop in Cairns, Australia. I am Rose-Anne, owner and mother to my beautiful daughter Temperance, who helps across weekends in the shops and all our Sunday Markets. We are a dedicated duo, with much integrity and enthusiasm to provide crystal lovers from around the world with authentic and quality crystals.

My love for crystals stems back to my earliest memory. I did not grow up with a huge collection, but I held close what I needed at different times in life. At age 5, I would visit neighbours who had a big clear quartz cluster. I found myself sitting and admiring it's beauty for hours on end. That’s when my love for crystals had started.

Since launching, I have put in many late nights, with entire weeks, weekends and beyond, spent bringing this amazing crystal dream of mine to reality. I went through a rough patch for some time, I felt stuck, with no feeling of moving forward in sight. In this time of my life, I was stuck in my own thoughts that were unshakable. But, with help I turned that around and am so proud of the beautiful flourishing business that came from my hard times.

With our journey starting in a spare bedroom, I began doing live shows on Facebook, setting up my own little crystal shop. Nerves were close to taking over, but with the love surrounding me by my husband and children, I felt empowered and it only grew from there. After a year we outgrew the spare room so we fitted out our granny flat, transforming it into a crystal studio. With the continued growth, it was not long after this that we found a wonderful space in Woree, home of our shop front to this day.

I will always believe it was the guidance from my Nanna that had passed May 10, 2022 on my birthday. My Nanna has been my Dragonfly, Whenever I need to talk to anyone and I am feeling like I might fall back into how I was before this all begun, I talk to my Nanna and without a doubt she visits me in my dreams or a dragonfly will always find’s it way to me, no matter where I am. Even when I am having bad days feeling little down while I am working the markets without a doubt a dragonfly will come and sit inside my marquee, so I know she is close and with me.

This was how I knew the shop was a yes, I sat out the front looking at the building in woree and of course I asked my Nanna if this is the correct place for our shop and not joke, a dragonfly flew over and sat on my windscreen and it just stared at me, then I knew this will be my next journey with my Nanna by my side in spirit. (or let's say in dragonfly's)

Let's not give me all the credit! My daughter and partner in crime, Temperance, has consistently contributed to the success of Temporla In Bloom. We've recently started doing crystal shop runs together, aiming to find the perfect crystal for our lovely crystal family. Our pop-up stalls at the local markets wouldn't be possible without Temperance. The amount of work that goes into building a stall requires significant effort, time, patience, and strength. Temperance has mastered the art of hard work from a young age. She's a delightful, fun, talented, bright, well-grounded, and intelligent young lady, and I'm blessed to be her Mum. Although, none of this would have been possible without the support from our crystal family.

The name Temporla In Bloom comes from the heart of all that we do: TEMP for my daughter Temperance, and ORLA for my son Orlando. IN BLOOM came naturally, from me watching them bloom into beautiful young adults.

I wouldn't be where I am today without my husband Jason by my side, supporting me in every way, guiding me to build my dream crystal oasis. I share this dream now with the world, whether you are visiting us in store, shopping online or stopping by to say hi at the markets, we believe in offering a personal shopping experience for all. Beyond our offerings of open communication across our online presence, we also offer after-hours appointments, so if our hours of trade are not preferable, don't hesitate to contact us.
